J-Dragon

J-Dragon was established in 2012 with the mission and vision of encouraging more young new bloods to devote themselves in dragon boat sport to pass on the sport and its culture. Since its establishment, we have been encouraging team members to participate in different dragon boat-related activities and trainings.

We now have around 100 team members including eight coaches certified by the Hong Kong China Dragon Boat Association. Two of our coaches were awarded “Community Coach Recognition Awards” in the Jockey Club Hong Kong Coaching Awards in 2016 and 2017 respectively.

J-Dragon holds all-year-round regular training with three sessions per week.  Apart from the team training, we also actively participate in community services.  We have held dragon boat trainings for local schools, colleges and the Junior Police Call so that more and more youngsters can enjoy the fun and cultivate a team work spirit from this sport.

In 2016, we were qualified to participate in the 10th CCWC competition held in Adelaide Australia and achieved a silver medal in the Senior B race.
